ACEs Ambassadors Application

Applicants must be at least a second-semester freshmen or second-semester transfer student enrolled full time in the College of Engineering. Minimum cumulative grade point average required for application is 3.0, which must be maintained throughout ACE tenure. Applicant must be willing to devote an average of five hours per week to ACE activities during the 2018-2019 school year.


More information on what the ambassadors do as well as the application process will be given at interest sessions. You MUST attend one of these sessions to be considered:

  • 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, in SERC 1059
  • 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in SERC 1059
  • 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, in SERC 1014
  • noon Friday, Feb. 2, in SERC 3070

Semifinalists interviews will be conducted

  • Saturday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 4 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Semifinalists will be asked to prepare a two-minute presentation on the topic of their choice to be given during the interview.

Finalist interviews will be conducted

  • Saturday, March 24 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, March 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All new ACEs must be able to attend a mandatory training session as well as ACE meetings schedule on an as-needed basis.
